Rubber Soul was founded in 2013 by Aadil Salim as a passion project to design second homes in Goa. Collaborating with local architects and interior designers, by 2016, Rubber Soul had successfully conceptualised and completed many homes in Goa. In 2017 Rubber Soul was reinvented as a full-time architectural and interior design practice.

In a rich heritage zone in North Kerala named Feroke, sits a home next to the Chaliyar River that honours the cultural significance of fishing boats on that site. The structure is made to look like floating boats when viewed from the river.Designed as a luxurious family home with 5 bedrooms, Floating House embodies architecture, structure, theatre and drama, all skilfully expressed through pure white volumes of varied scales and proportions. Naturally-lit spaces, cantilevers, and the sculpted central staircase are some of the key highlights of this project. &nbsp;
