We used these mosaic tiles in one of our recent projects and honestly they are one of the trickiest things to get right on site. The mesh they come on is flexible, so the moment a worker presses it directly onto the wall, the joints shift and you end up with lines going all over the place instead of staying straight. And once it is grouted and done, there is really no fixing it.

So here is what we actually do. We first paste the mesh tile sheet flat onto a plain base tile using adhesive, let it set completely straight and rigid, and only then stick that whole unit onto the wall. For curved surfaces we cut the mosaic into smaller pieces first, paste those onto the base tile, and then lay it. It is a tile on tile method and it takes more time but the joints come out perfectly even every single time.
